Hi y'all! I am currently a Senior at Oklahoma State University where I am planning to receive a degree in Design, Housing and Merchandising with an option in Merchandising. My expected graduation date is December 2017. I hope to pursue a career in home decor and hold any position that allows me to impact people with my creativity. I was most recently employed as a Showroom Intern at SURYA in the Dallas World Trade Center. I wore many hats in the showroom, and have had the opportunity to learn copious things about the industry. I was also recently employed as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for Textiles at OSU, where I helped facilitate a cooperative, after-hours, study environment for the Textiles class in which I previously excelled. I also held a position as an intern in Retail Sales and Staging Design last summer at a local boutique. This position played a key part in growing me as a professional.

I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. I have a very diverse professional background; including the Showroom Internship, the Supplemental Instructor, and the Retail Sales and Staging Design positions which I most recently held, and positions as a Volleyball Official and a Clerical Assistant. I feel that these experiences have helped me develop a well-rounded skill set and have helped me learn several ways of effective communication and professionalism. I am extremely organized and I work hard to keep everything orderly and exemplary. Above all, I am a natural leader and I have an infectious, positive spirit.
